🥩HOW MUCH BEEF WILL I GET?

A whole COW WILL TYPICALLY yield ABOUT 350-400 LBS OF FINISHED, vacuum sealed PACKAGED BEEF.

💰how much will it be?

a 1400 LB. cow will be about 700 LB. hanging weight. That is the price you pay on. What you end up taking home is about half of that, 350 lbs, because the bones, silver skin, and connective tissue, which is considered waste. WE ARE CURRENTLY AT $6/LB HANGING WEIGHT.

🛒wHAT’S INCLUDED?

bh INCLUDES YOUR BUTCHERED CUTS, PACKAGING, AND SERVICE. WE DON’T CHARGE EXTRA FOR USING YOUR CREDIT CARD. ALL OF OUR PACKAGES ARE VACUUM SEALED IN THE SAME HIGH-QUALITY PACKAGING AS YOU SEE IN OUR MARKET.

🥶how much freezer space do i need?

minimum size for a ½ cow is 8-10 cubic ft., minimum size for a whole cow is 20 cu. ft.

🌱what’s different about BH beef?

Our beef is grass fed and finished, which means that our cattle graze lush pastures their entire life. make sure that if you’ve never cooked a grass finished steak before that you look up some tips on how to prepare it. you want to use less time and higher heat to get a perfect steak.

💰Make a deposit

  • you are required to leave a $500 deposit on a half cow and $1000 on a whole cow. once you leave a deposit, we connect you with our master butcher and he will reach out to discuss your cut sheet options. you can leave your deposit here or in the market.
